5 Reasons Lawyers Practice Law
Lots of my pals like myself, are counsels. Since law school and over the years I have noticed that there are some typical reasons why regardless of the complete anguish, pressure and stress they opt to practice law.
* Money - they believe that they will make heaps of money. A 6 figure revenue is a heck of a motivation.
* Snob Appeal - They view law as a prestigious profession and that with money it will lead on to, for some, an improvement and for others, preservation of their standing
* Challenges - they think about the law as an intellectually challenging and exciting field ideal for the talents they already have and desire to sharpen.
* Pressure - They are from a family of barristers. They're predicted to join the firm.
* Naivety - They see so many injustices in the world and they need to change them.
While some may very well enjoy the cut and thrust of the practice, in my experience, I'm going to have to say that most lawyers are sad in their roles.I've seen the job lead to the cut down of their family lives, their emotional stability and their standard of life generally. Sadly most of them see no possible way out but to tolerate the agony of the practice while spotting the harm it poses to their wider existence. We want to get real and get a life.We do not need to sit down day by day in a unhappy job. If you mull it over, you will find a technique to have the things you would like while doing the things you like. Remember you have got the power, you can leave the bar.
