Important Legal Book to Read on Government Regulations - Legal Book Review

Important Legal Book to Read on Government Regulations - Legal Book Review Recently in the US many have requested more regulation of banks, rating agencies, Wall Street, insurance corporations, property industry and Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Still, there are regulations in place already; many were ignored and uninformed, while some laws really helped cause the emergency.

It is because of this and it's my contention that those that call for more regulation, need to learn a touch more about how laws work, what they do, what they do not do, what they have done and the unvarnished reality of their value. I would like to respectfully advocate that you scanned the following law book: "The Politics of Regulation; Inspecting Establishments and Regulatory Reforms for the Age of Presidency” edited by Jacint Jordana and David Levi Faur; Edward Egar Publishing 2004. This book is a compilation from six pros and ten contributors on politics, economics, and regulation.

This is an excellent book that reminds of the fears once said by Adam Smith and even the comments of the famous anti-capitalist Karl Marx. More up to date authors would confirm a lot of what has been drafted in this book for example Smoot in "The Business Side of Government” or DiLorenzo in his wonderful work where he states that capitalism hasn't succeed due to executive intervention and regulation, but instead despite it. This book is a complete cheap of the questions above and it should be essential for anyone that makes a plea to be an economic guru, regulator, banker, or industrialist.

I definitely hope you'll join me in training yourself on regulatory reform in this day of growing govt and control of what we call; free markets therefore please think on this.
